Al Gore may have slipped a bit when he said he invented the internet, the internet was actually invented in the 60s by the government and not by congressmen but through group collaboration, input from many people but one man is being cited for having invented the World Wide Web.First we have to define both terms. The Internet is a network of computers connected together and sharing data. The World Wide Web is what we see when we shop online, read a blog post or hang out on a social network. The World Wide Web would not exist without the internet and basically sits on top of it.
