There are many aspects to blogging and certainly there are millions of blogs across the internet; but, can a blog make you a millionaire? The first place to start with blogging is passion. What are you passionate about and how can you expand on that.
Your blogging platform is not the most important thing. There are many free blogging sites but I would personally host my own primary blog with a reputable CMS like Joomla or WordPress. We have seen some free blogging platforms shut down from time to time and if your primary blog is on a free platform then all your hard work and followers would disappear and not to mention that moving a free hosted blog can be quite difficult or impossible.
Here is an example of how a fashion blog turned this college student into a fashion sensation and entrepreneur .. not over night mind you but she is now charging $50,000 for public speaking and has launched her very own shoe line.
